Maxim 31 is the 31st part of the Book of Proverbs in the Hebrew Bible or the Old Testament of the Christian Bible. It is a recognition of the great spouse, a meaning of an ideal wife or "perfect lady" in the country of Israel, who is 'a productive housewife, a wise agent, a venturesome merchant, a liberal advocate (refrain 20) and a shrewd educator (section 26)'.[1]
